Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026 · Applies to all Pack Camo utilities
Our Absolute Privacy Commitment
This file utility platform strictly guards your privacy. All file processing (such as image and document conversions) is performed entirely client-side using WebAssembly. We never upload, process, or store your files on any server.
Your files never leave your local device's memory. There are no upload endpoints, no storage databases, and nothing remains once your browser tab is closed.
Privacy policy
The short version: your files never leave your device, and the only thing this site learns about you is that someone visited a page. The long version follows.
1. Your files
Every conversion on Pack Camo runs inside your web browser. When you open, drop or paste a file, it is read into your browser's memory, processed by code running on your own device, and offered back to you as a download. No file, and no part of a file, is ever transmitted to a server.
Because nothing is uploaded, there is nothing to store, nothing to retain and nothing to delete. The site has no upload endpoint, no processing queue and no storage bucket. Closing the tab discards everything the tool was working on.
2. What the site does collect
Usage analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages and tools they use, and roughly where in the world they come from. This helps me decide what to improve. Analytics records the page you are on, your browser and device type, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you arrived at the site. It never sees the names, contents, sizes or types of the files you convert, nor anything you type into a tool.
Server logs. The site is served through a content delivery network, which keeps standard, short-lived access logs (the URL requested, the time, your IP address and browser identifier) for security and to keep the service running. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.
Messages you send me. If you contact me by email, I keep the message for as long as it takes to deal with it and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you follow up.
3. Cookies
Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies on the site's domain to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. They contain a random identifier, not your name or anything you have typed. The site sets no other cookies: there are no accounts to log into and no advertising.
You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and most content-blocking extensions block Google Analytics entirely. The tools work exactly the same either way.
4. Third parties
Two third parties are involved in serving the site: the hosting and content delivery provider that delivers the pages, and Google, which provides the analytics. Each processes the data described above under its own privacy policy. No data about you is sold, rented or shared with anyone else, and no data about your files exists to share.
Fonts and code are served from the site's own domain, so loading a page does not tell any other company that you visited.
5. Data stored in your browser
Beyond the analytics cookies described above, the site stores nothing in your browser. Settings you change in a tool last for as long as the tab is open and are forgotten when you close it. Nothing is written to local storage, and no file you process is cached anywhere.
6. Children
The site is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since there are no accounts and no forms, there is no mechanism through which it could.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data an organisation holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. In practice the only personal data this site could hold is an email you sent me, which I will delete on request. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to you.
8. Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles data changes, for instance if a new tool needed a server component, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. The commitment that files are processed locally is the point of the project and is not going to change.
9. Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you want to exercise one of the rights above, write to support@packcamo.com or see the contact page.
Terms of use
Pack Camo is a free tool offered in good faith. These terms set out what you can expect from it and what it asks of you. They are written to be read, not skimmed, and they are short.
1. Using the site means accepting these terms
By using Pack Camo you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
2. What the service is
Pack Camo provides tools that convert, compress and reshape files. All processing happens in your web browser on your own device. The site does not receive, store or transmit your files, and it has no account system. It is offered free of charge for personal and commercial use.
3. Your files stay yours
You keep every right to the files you process. Because they never reach the site, the site claims no rights over them and takes no copy. You are responsible for having the right to use, convert and distribute whatever you process, and for the results you produce from it.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the tools for any lawful purpose. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, to scrape it in ways that burden the service, to misrepresent its output as something it is not, or to use it in violation of the laws that apply to you. There is no server to attack, but the request stands.
5. Provided as-is, without warranty
The site and its tools are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Conversions are performed by software, and software has bugs: output may differ from the source in ways that matter to you. Always keep your original file and check the result before relying on it.
There is no promise that the site will be available at any given time, that it will keep working in a particular browser, or that any tool or format will continue to be offered.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author of Pack Camo is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damage, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
7. Intellectual property
The Pack Camo name, the chameleon mascot, the site's design and its written content belong to the author. The open-source libraries the tools are built on remain under their own licences, which are acknowledged in the project's source. You may link to the site freely; please do not present it as your own.
8. Third-party services
The site is delivered through a hosting provider and measured with an analytics service, described in the privacy policy. Those services are governed by their own terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
10. Questions about these terms
